The Learning Link offers technical assistance training for school staff to build a school community that engages parents in the learning lives of their children. Schools can take advantage of two programming areas – Partnership School Initiative and a 25-hour Parent Liaison Certificate. The goals of each program area are described below:
Partnership School Initiative:

- Mobilize hard-to-reach parents;
- Provide a communication and resource network for parents.

Parent Liaison Certificate Program:
- Help paraprofessionals build a core foundation for parent involvement;
- Develop practical strategies for engaging families based on proven models that focus on student achievement;
- Foster greater understanding of federal and state education mandates.
