Advocacy Training Course
 

The Learning Link of Delaware’s 20-hour Advocacy Training Course helps grassroots leaders 
become more effective advocates for educational change and improvement. Adopted from 
best-practice models, this course:
  • Emphasizes advocacy techniques best suited to improving student achievement;
  • Develops conflict resolution and effective communication skills;
  • Provides greater understanding of federal and state education mandates;
  • Provides ongoing coaching and support for participants.

Community Partnership Initiative
 

The Learning Link offers a variety of informational workshops through its Community Partnership Initiative. This initiative is designed to strengthen connections with community organizations at training sites located in churches, community centers, businesses and libraries. The initiative offers ongoing assistance for community and faith-based organizations that seek to improve education in public schools, improve student achievement and promote greater educational opportunities for students after high school.
